About this event

Teddys Train Ride!

Sunday 2nd and Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May 2021

Back by popular demand. Ted gets his own train ticket and goes on his very own steam train ride - on his own!

Come for steam train rides and enjoy wandering around the many railway artefacts and rolling stock around our 25 acre site, but the highlight of the day is when it's time for the Teddy Trains. (Approximately once an hour throughout the day.)

Come and spend the day out with us and bring Teddy along for the ride. We have lots of picnic tables, so why not have a Teddy Bears Picnic at the same time! Or enjoy something from our cafe. Teddy can still join in.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Government guidelines, the buildings will be closed, however you will be able to access the cafe for takeaways and visit our Gift Shop. The Miniature Railway will remain closed until further notice.

Due to Covid-19, we have implemented a one-way circular walk around the site. Because of this, visitors with limited mobility may not be able to access some areas of our site as there are flights of stairs, so pushchairs/wheelchairs will need to be carried.

If you are unable to manage the stairs, you will still be able to visit our site and enjoy a train ride. Please ring us on 01296 655720 for more information regarding access.

You are welcome to follow the circular walk more than once and enjoy more than one train ride, please just follow our guidelines at all times.

All tickets must be pre-booked and are limited per arrival time. We have staggered the arrival times to limit queuing. Please choose your day and time and book for everyone in your party, including any free of charge children under 3 years. (This is to ensure we know exactly how many people are coming each day)

If you are a Max Card holder or Carer, please ring 01296 655720.

IF YOU CANNOT PRODUCE A VALID CARD ON ARRIVAL, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FULL ADMISSION PRICE.

If you are a member or hold a local pass, complimentary ticket or season ticket, please use the 'MEMBER' log in.

We look forward to seeing you soon! If you have any questions, please email us: office@bucksrailcentre.org
